I was waiting for this response. Exactly what I thought you'd say. It's not up to the talker to decide if his words are derogatory, or, not. It is up to the person that he is talking to to decide that. I find bro and bruh derogatory, just like you find son or kid derogatory. So, it's a case by case basis. Dude, my demons are alcohol, depression, and anxiety. I'm just now starting to battle them. Over 90 days sober, off anti-depressants after 19 years, down 50 pounds and off anxiety meds. Bro and Bruh aren't even a blip on the radar in my life. And, I hope Son and Kid aren't a blip on your radar either. Don't sweat the small stuff, it's not worth it. I'll talk shit all day and night with anybody, and, laugh about it the whole time. People take it too seriously and have to get personal, that's when it gets out of hand. ✌
