I just got an alpine amp that pushes 1000 rms to 1 channel, and now i need some subs.. i was thinking of sticking with 2 alpine type r subs....... any suggestions???

sounds like a good idea. a better idea would be to tell us the model number of the amp, your vehicle, electrical upgrades, and everything else. Or even better, you could research subwoofers extensively and give us specific choices to choose from instead of everything besides type-Rs (your choice). Good luck

I just noticed, u didn't even say what size type-r's. I guess I assumed 12"s

yes that would be the 12s.....and i have a 95 accord.
