I got 2 orion 12's @ 800 rms watts apiece in a sealed kicker box. A sony explode dash that only pushes maybe 120 watts MAX, & has only 1 sub outlet. All my door speakers are factory @ 6x8, for a ford focus (looking to change soon). My question is since my dash has only 1 sub outlet & pushes so little would it be wiser to get a better dash unit to push speakers for the doors for a better balance or to just run the one sub outlet to a 1600 - 2000 watt amp with the 12's ? Wondering if the sub would drowned out the small wattage of the door speakers because i don't have any tweeters?
