Any reason to add polyfill to my setup?

I've heard there can be certain benifets to adding polyfill to a sealed encloser setup but I'm not sure if it will benefit me. I have a 350w rms 12" JBL sub that I put in a 1 cu. ft. enclosure (as per the factory specification for box size). It's running off of a 360w rms monoblock amp. Music preference is mostly rock, metal, industrial, and techno type music. Would there be any reason for me to use polyfill? Why or why not?

I tossed some in my 1.25 cu. ft. box with a 12" JL W6. I was quite impressed with the difference it made. I found that the bass was lower and sounded clearer. It does however, compromise some of the "punch".

Like they said, it is pretty cheap so experiment with it. You might like the sound better, you might now.
