Any PS2 modders?

I 'softmodded' my PS2, so I could use it to play AVI files. Can't get SMS to work seamlessly. The video 'jumps', and randomly stops all the time. Any suggestions?

I was going to put some neons in my Fatboy PS2 but couldn't find some long enough that would fit in there well enough. The case is orange and neons were going to be white. Needless to say it was a giant let down.

Don't use a PS2? try a different mod if possible. I use an xbox and run unleashX then through that i boot to XBMC if I want to run a media center. Been there, done that. Only reason why I gave up on the Xbox, is that I did everything possible. I ran XBMC as default dash, and had 750Gb+ of videos. Sold it, wish I didn't now.
