They have one of those Viper trucks here at the local dealer.

It's some limited edition thing because it has something like 251 of 500 plaque on the dash.It's sat there for years now. Still new. They can't sell it.

I think the 11 mpg might have something to do with it.

i know a guy that has the 4 door version and driving in the D, he is lucky to see double digits.

yellow with black hood decal = yellow fever, 500 produced

white with blue fanged racing stripes = commemorative edition, 200 produced

black pearl 2006 = night runner, 400 produced

mpg probably doesn't hurt it as much as just the fact that truck values have dropped so much. they were super popular when they first came out, just like any other viper. if they have had it for a while, they are probably not budging on the price because they need to get money from it. you can buy a used one for less than $20K now. it's sad. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

also, the one that was posted is interesting. $11,499 for a converted rumble bee. sure it would be fun, but they threw everything into the rumble bee cab to make it sellable and are asking way too much. another $8K and you can get a real srt-10. crazy.

why wouldnt they have just let the cab in one piece? you can sell that as a whole just get rid of the vin numbers

some reading > j00, its not the original cab. They put that on it so it can be title. That cab is from another salvaged truck.
