Any of you people Scientologists?

So, now it is not appropriate to assess the veracity of a claim by assessing the background of the writer. You see how this differs from your original opinion.
Now, the question is: what exactly do you mean by "verified by history?" If you mean that there are some (not all) verified historical figures, locations, or events included within the text, then certainly there is some truth to Scientology. Personally, I don't find cherry-picking the truthful instances to be a good way of assessing how true the remaining text is, though.
I cant understand this fuck with all these incomplete sentences and rambling

The bottom line is EVERYONE, no matter what believes some religion. If you believe in a God of some sort you obviously believe in a religion. If you deny the existence of God, THAT is your religion. If you tell people that the earth is getting warmer due to man made carbon emissions THAT is your religion. Why? Because there is evidence creating reasonable doubt for either argument. None can be proven or disproved. Religion is based on faith. If something could be proven... then why would there be a reward for believing in it?

Scientology is so funny. hard to take a religion serious that was written by a science fiction writer.
The Bible can be verified by history. Whether you believe it or not the fact is it can be verified. hell even Islam has history to back it up. Try to prove anything that is written in the book of Scientology?
what do you mean verified by history? i find it very hard to believe that theres ever been a time where people lived to be 900+ years old (cain and abel) talking snakes, virgin births, talking bushes, parting of the red sea, and jonah and the whale. has that stuff been proven?

seems to me like the book of scientology is just as valid as the bible and christianity. just like any other cult, it was started so a group of people would act a certain way and have something to live for. but thats just my opinion i guess.

So what shall we say about the writers of the bible? The parts for which we're reasonably certain of authorship were written by credulous bronze age intellectual-infants. Of the New Testament (undoubtedly the most important part of the bible to Christians), we are only certain of the authorship for five books written by Paul the Apostle; everything else is open to very extensive debate. For all we know, they were written by a mythological fiction writer.
Oh please, this is such a vague and unverified claim its not even worth the time to read. There are as many people saying what you essentially stated as there are people who say the exact opposite. Way to vague of a statement, with no knowledge whatsoever to back it up; totally invalid.

Now since you seem to be supporting scientology, please explain this.

"In the OT levels, Hubbard explains how to reverse the effects of past-life trauma patterns that supposedly extend millions of years into the past.[116] Among these advanced teachings is the story of Xenu (sometimes Xemu), introduced as an alien ruler of the "Galactic Confederacy." According to this story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. Scientologists at advanced levels place considerable emphasis on isolating body thetans and neutralizing their ill effects."

A hydrogen bomb...an alien who runs the "Galactic Confederacy"? I'm sorry, that is just silly. How did Hubbard come to know this information if it occured 75 million years ago? Most modern day scientists cannot agree on geological, and overall developmental changes of the earth that occured even 20 million years ago. As far as I can remember, most scientists say that there were barely people even what...4 million years ago? Even if the number is higher...Xenu brought several billion to earth? Hubbard somehow knew such exact details of times almost quadrupel what most people can only speculate on? Seems preposterous at best.
