Any Longboarders Here?

I've been getting into longboarding on the weekends for some "extracurricular cardio" and I'm fvcking addicted!!!

I used to skateboard when I was young so it's not too foreign to me physiologically, but took me some time to get used to it again and shed the fear. I'm telling you there's nothing like doing 35 MPH+ on a nice stable longboard. Such a rush. I can't wait until I'm agile enough to hit the mountains up north.

Just seeing if any others on here surf the pavement...? I'm looking to purchase my first "real" couple of boards so I was hoping this thread might could turn into a helpful place to find some info.

I do, have for about 7 years. Check out silverfishlongboarding.com. Great forum, iv'e been a member there since 04.

Iv'e got a number of boards...and went through many more through the years. I currently have a Loaded Dervish, Landyachtz DH race, Fibreflex Pintail, a couple sliding boards, and a Motion Bigfish.

When shopping for longboards, remember there are many other brands out there than just Sector 9, just like car audio. Sector 9 in general doesn't make great products, and I would compare them to a company like Audiobahn in the car audio world.
