I have however owned a few Kimbers and loved them all. I just do not have any in the collection at the moment.

There may or may not be one in the NEAR future-lol

i guess i should have gone in detail but you got my drift . loved my mini but ar is a better choice for me. more options and mag ar cheap compared to ruger mags . i bet you my armalite hbar can out shoot your mini any day of the week !!!!!

Well lets see....

From Gun doc.....

I have 2 each for my Mini's that Doc has fitted and installed. You should know this if you know about him.

Had him do the work, did not have to send them in to Ruger and he charged a lot less than Ruger would have.

FIY, I had these made as back ups just in case. I still have all of the factory pins and bolts. One of which has more than 9K rounds on it.

And one more FIY, firing pins are fitted to the bolt and the bolts are fitted to the action and not the barrel....

For the $$$$ difference between them it had better!!

As you can see in my pics, I own 2 M4's my self. Gun for gun, the AR platform is much more accurate.

As far as my M4's and Mini's, its not about being able to tag a quartet at 300 yds+ but being able to do what a battle weapon is to do....

Hit a man at distance. If I need that kind of accuracy, well that is what my .308/300win mags are for.(and I can out shoot ANY AR at any distance at any time with them!) Yes the AR's are more accurate for SURE vs the Mini but I will have to say that all 3 of my Mini's are far more reliable, will chamber/shoot ANY type of ammo and when/if they ever they FTF or FTE, it can be cleared 10X faster.

Let me clear up by saying that my Mini's are the older models,(186xxx) and NOT the newer crap that Ruger seems to be producing.

FWIW, I have done everything I can do to a Mini(which aint that much) so now its time for me to build a few M4's. Very fun to shoot and I actually like

the buffer spring "twang" when it cycles

I have a cheapie Bersa Thunder .380ACP (think Walther PPK)that I can't hit **** with.Looking to buy a Taurus 809 9mm, 17 round clips ftw!

You guys ever seen a Savage Arms BA110. I ordered one about a week ago, cant wait! =]. Shoots a .338 Lapua or .308. Of course i got the .338. =]
