I have been playing for a little over 4 years now.

I have a Line 6 Spider II 212 and a Limited Edition Ibanez RG270 outfitted with an EMG 85 pickup and an EMG 81 pickup, plus a Sustainiac pickup.

I play a lot of Metallica styled music.

such as pinch harmonics and economy picking.

if economy picking is waht i think it is, that ish is hard. gets confusing to keep up with where youre at in the pick sequence if you are playing beyond jyust the standard 3 note sequence you learn it with. maybe once that gets mastered its easier. its supposed to be the fastest way to play.

wu36ca, im in drop C also. il ove it. its so **** chunky. only thing is my guitar keeps going slightly out of tune after a coule of days. between dropping the tuning and buying heavy gauges strings i have a whole diff sound now.

ive been playing for i guess 15ish years, but took a several yaer break in teh middle. i have a bc rich warlock and a crate 140 watt dual 12 amp. looking to upgarde my guitar either before or right after i get back from iraq. play mostly heavy metal and hardcore.

I have an ESP F-50 with the SD livewire active pickup set, a crate 2x12 combo, and an original twin reverb from the 70's. Ive pretty much stopped playing, but Id like to start again.

Been playing bass for 6 years. I'm in two bands, one I'm about to leave one of them. My main gear that i use often,

fbb custom neck through 4 or a mtd 5 string

aguilar db 680 preamp into a qsc rmx2450 into 2 Earcandy cab 212s in one channel, and a kustom 215 and swr goliath 3 410 if the stage demands it without any strong PA, but usually just go from preamp di'd to the front board for the gigs with real systems and get signal for the stage through their stage monitors and back line.
