Any experience with Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

So I'm gonna get a new HU for my car and from looking around online I've pretty much decided on the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB. Looks like a really nice unit, has pretty much everything I'm looking for. My only concern is the ease of use. I was in bestbuy yesterday and i couldn't figure out how to use the thing for the life of me, the controls seem pretty confusing. The alpine were a lot of fun to play around with but they didn't seem to have all the features i wanted. I have a feeling once i read the manual for the pioneer i won't have problems it just might take me a little time to get used to its controls. Has anyone else used this hu or one like it?

I have the DEH-P6900UB... and it's really easy to use. Most of the audio-control things are easy to access... just push in the volume knob and it access a menu, and you can get it from there. The only thing that's a hassle on my unit is changing time... you have to turn the unit off, then hold in the volume knob until the menu comes up... took me forever to figure that one out. Have to change the time that way. :\

I had the 6000 and really enjoyed it, it may take some time to learn all the controls but its worth it.

I have a 6000ub and love it. Takes a second to get use to, but I find myself using the face controls more than the remote.

Great unit, reads from the usb very fast. Im one of the non Ipod users out there, (I have a Creative Zen M Vision) and it works well with it.

Nice receiver. i have one in my car right now. just bought it. only problem I am having now is it skips when bass hits really hard even though I have it mounted really well. solution though is to use a flash drive. not really that big a deal, digital media is the way to go anyway. nice features, 7 band eq is golden. overall really good receiver.

I hated the 6000ub model, i had a 4000ub before it, and i will be "degrading" back down to the 4000ub. I liked the function of the 7 band EQ but the music wasnt as loud or clear (no amp on the door speakers) as it was with the 4000 ub it seemed. Seems like they put more design time into the looks instead of function of it. Function wise its the same as the 4000 with the exception of the 7 band EQ. The 4000 has a 3 band with adjustable slope and Q factor. The 4000 also has a remote that is ALOT easier to use. I think im gonna get either a 4000 or an eclipse brand hu next time i get a new one. Go to best buy and slip one of the car fi people 10 bucks and tell him to buy the 6000ub for you if you want it.
