I had a 405D for about 8 years and it was great from beginning to when I just sold my X.
I always felt I could have used more power, as it was 40w rms. THis being twice the power? should bring the stage in nice and full...the sq was crystal clear when my speakers were new, but as I said it was underpowered and I clipped the hell out of the Excelon comps and damaged them overtime.
