any experience with diamond d3 sub's

Their components aren't very popular around here, but the subs are great. Very well-built and durable. However, Diamond products are SQ-oriented. Not saying they can't get loud, but they are in no way your best bet for an SPL system.

i dont know exactly what im gonna get, it will be a couple months before i can afford sub's anyway. just trying to get an idea of there performance. also what other sub's use the **** cone besides the d3 and fi sub's. audioque doe's but who else

the D3 is a good sounding woofer. i have one on about 700 watts in my boat that sounds good. it has really natural sounding bass. no mechanical noise at all, just a well built budget woofer. depending on the power though, i would probably be tempted to go with something else.
