Ive been thinking about getting a 94-96 F250 or F350 and just wanted to see what everyone here preferred. Ill admit right now, im Ford till i die.

Ive seen some cracked out dual turbo diesel trucks out at the track that smoked like a train and did 8's on the 1/8th mile track.

i use to have an 05 6.0 powerstroke diesel. It was pretty quick. Now I have an 08 powerstroke twin turbo 6.4... I absolutely love it on the inside and outside as well as the motor.

My stepdad just got an 05 F250 with the powerstroke, its quick as hell.

yep.. but older the better. I have a 2005 chevy crew cab 13 mpg if I am luck with my 24' trailer 10mpg... The 2004 chevy gets like 24mpg..

the new 6.4s will put down some hellacious numbers

12.52 in the 1/4 mile at 109 mph

581 HP and 1145 ft. lbs torque

I really liked The Chronicles of Riddick and Babylon AD. Fast & the Furious, Find Me Guilty, XXX and Pitch Black are okay too.

mine is a crew cab shortbed 4x4 and gets 13.1 mpg all stock with 17k miles on the odometer. I've had a 6" lift for the bish for over a year and I still haven't installed it... can't afford 22"s and 37"s right now...

His is a crew cab, shortbed 4x4 and its has a banks cold air intake with i believe around 80K on it, he bought it used. He gets around 20mpg though. Its like the gold and black 2 tone with tan leather interior.

the tuners will give you hella impressive gas mileage... my 05 was a salvage title truck, I actually got it in 05 it had been fully repaired ( only paid arounf 15k for it it was a loaded out lariat with every available option and only 15k miles) I just had a simple hypertech programmer in mine and it got 16 mpg and would kill most of the people that thought they were fast at my school

eh, lincoln tech isnt that great.

gimme a cummins anyday, i have a 4bt thats sweet. Gota find something to put it in and convert it to veggie oil

The worst diesel to come alive. Once you go to diesel school, you will switch to cummins. My brother is a diehard FORD fan, went to WyoTech, and now he drives a cummins. I tried tellin him for years, but it took that school to show him whats up.

And Ford AGAIN is switching their diesel... bye bye 6.4, hello 6.7. And they are not Twin Turbo...they are sequential turbo's.

The Duramax is actually a good diesel... but any "V" diesel is NOT a true diesel, only a modified gas engine.
