Any adverse effects of running a power wire along the top of a second amp?

I have a Kicker ZX650.4 powering my front/rear speakers. The amp is located in the trunk mounted to a board right up against the rear seats. The power/ground feed the amp from the left side (looking at the amp from the open trunk) and the RCA/Speaker inputs/outputs are on the right side of the amp. I am going to be installing a Sony XM-1S Subwoofer amp and need to mount it either to the right, or the left of the kicker amp. Will there be any problems mounting two amps side by side? If I install the Sony XM-1S to the left of the Kicker, I'll have to run the power/ground wires over the top of the XM-1S to the kicker. The inputs/outputs of the Sony amp will exit out the bottom of the amp as you look at it, so they won't be alongside the Kicker wiring. However, the RCA/speaker wire running from the Sony XM-1S will have to run along the bottom edge of the Kicker amp.

If I mount the Sony XM-1S to the right of the Kicker amp, then I will have to run the RCA's and speaker wires from the Kicker amp, over the top of the Sony amp. The power/ground wire for the Sony XM-1S will have to run along the bottom of the Kicker ampWhich would be the better way to mount them, and are there any problems running the wiring right alongside the other amp? I'm sorry if the question sounds confusing, it's just tough to put into writing.

If it helps, the power/ground wires and RCA/speaker wires are on opposite sides on the Kicker amp. All of the wires on the Sony XM-1S amp run off of the same side.
