I did exaggerate that a little bit, because I think their corporate products are at least somewhat decent, but anything in their commercial line is garbage. I fix computers quite often, and I find that many viruses easily slip through their commercial protection. I've also seen that be true when developing worms to bypass protections, because Symantec's products are always easiest to defeat... at least in my experience.
