Someone had mentioned that the HX2 might get louder than the Type-R... This is FALSE.
I had a Type-R, and I blew it out of my own stupidity, but I have a HX2 in there now till I get my Type X, and the Type R was waaay louder, and cleaner than this HX2 could ever get.

Other than a vague impression of a customers Type-r and my old Hx2 nope. My install was a hell of a lot louder than his Type-r.
I was commenting on the install factor. Probably should have been a bit clearer for the type-r cult.

Generalizing that the type-r will always be louder than an Hx2 is false.

But has that guy used both in every emaginable situation? If no, then how can he say that the type R will ALWAYS be louder? Or better worded how can he say that the Hx2 getting louder then the R is false?

I can put a type R 12 in a 1cu.ft. sealed box with 1watt and have a pyramid 12 with 100 watts in its perfect ported box...would the pyramid have a chance to get louder? Yes. Therefor before you are so vague as to say that they type r will be louder every single time you need to get the facts strait.

Quick vent. I was bashed a week or so ago for "hating" on the R. I was told that I was nothing more then a whiney baby that needed to STFU about the R cause it PWNED all. Again today the topic arose that I need to STFU cause I am an uneducated fool who needs to shut up about what I dont know...well...It seems that all this hate is coming from the people that are bashing me. I am not upset in the slightest bit. They seem to get bent out of shape.

Hate on me, I dont care. You are the ones who cant comprehend that a test done in one vehicle, with one box (maybe more, it doesnt matter) and the same power doenst mean that the R will PWN or hand another woofer it *** everytime. I enjoy talking to spkrman on occation, I do beleive that he is real. He knows that his test is accurate...in his vehicle...

Actually I am just wasting time at work cause it is such a boring day. I can type like this forever....story time.

One day the type R decided to take a walk on the wild side and join the SPL circut. While he was amazing in one blazer he found that so many of his brothers were getting their butts kicked by the big bad watt. Bad mofo watt one day decided to team up with the R just to see what the fuss was all about. That day was the last day that anyone ever saw the R. Mr. watt continues to play with all the bg boys around, but the little R just wasnt up to par......

For real though. Stop with the BS shit about the R. Its a good speaker, thats fine, just drop the pwning and lies surrounding the bandwagon....yes it is a bandwagon, those who do not think so are sooo blind.
