As annoying as it may be he's within his rights. He even kept it by PM. What he did wrong was take offense by someone who didn't just ignore him and actually said no and flexed his cutoff jean shorts and hit the ban button. Worse yet he is preventing someone from having their account deleted from DIYMA. And technically that's where he's wrong since a username is intellectual and personal property by Internet law.

In the several years ive been a member there, ive received maybe 3 pm's from ant that are the general mass spam stuff asking to buy something. Not trying to defend him, just stating another viewpoint

I look at it this way usually. If i have an hr to kill looking at random shit i come on here. Ive stumbled across tons of great threads on diyma where i spend hrs learning something. Though a lot r older threads and theres less good info recently.

Also this site is good for high traffic. If u post sometimg, usually u get a response quickly

i could understand getting banned if i was rude or ignorante but to ban because i ask why is just abuse of power.
