so yesterday i got banned from diyma, because i replied back to one of my many pm that i get to save $$ on an upgrade.

i reply back to the pm asking if he spams all sites he owns and since i had a lousy purchase from his store that was reason for me not to upgrade , and i got banned ? so i ask to close my account since the admin acts like a nazi and this is the reply i get emailed.

i own your account. I will do with it as I please..

Sounds about right. Each of these forums has their own douchebaggery with the admin/mod staff, and members for that matter, that you either have to accept or learn about and leave the site.

agreed, but to get a 6 month ban for questioning why the constant pm to upgarde seems a bit severe .

It is all about money for him as the forums he owns are his job.

There is a lot of knowledge on that site. A lot. The people tend to be snobby though and this is how the admin can be. But there is a ton of info, especially regarding SQ.

honestly i had an issue with a pico fuse and all the info i got was useless . there are some pepole that have good knowlege but the only thing that really stands out about the site is the high dollar pepole can sell the audio for lol. i mean higher end stuff seems to be a hit over there .

Yeah they're all about SQ. High dollar stuff, but also making the most of what they actually have with good installs. Kinda how we are with sub boxes and walls, they are with A-pillars and kick-panels. But honestly I don't go there too much. Every now and then to see what they're talking about, or if I want some ideas on front stage.

I enjoy the stuff on DIY and talking to guys that aren't affraid the pay for quality not jut the usual "I have a couple hundred bucks build me a whole system" BS Over here...

imo they are not as friendly over there, i agree with has been said they seem snobby . some of the guys were cool but overall seems like they are in a higher class than the average joe.
