Another yellowtop?

So I want to put a batt. in the trunk, I'm getting my HO alt put back in tomorrow. Do I just run wires from pos to pos and neg to neg on the other batt? I have 1 yellowtop under the hood... If not can some1 guide me to something explaining how to put a batt in the trunk? Thanks.

Yes, just run it parallel to the current system with the largest gauge wire you can get.
