Alright heres the deal guys. I get paid next week and im going to be purchasing either 2 ava 12's or 1 TC 3 hp. Its going to be ran off of my Orion 275g4. The ava's will be @.5 and the tc @ 1. Tc should be getting around 1500-1800 watts. I will set the gain for the ava's to 2k. Boxes to spec in a trunk car. Both tuned to 28-30. Which setup is going to perform better in both spl and sq. Electrical will be taken care of.
Any more opinions? The cost is about the same. I have wanted ava's since they came out and recently I was looking forward to running a single 15". The 3 hp looks like a much more capable woofer in the vids on the realm though. Anyone have experience with both?
