A friend of mine is planning on feeding 2000(total) to three 12" Type R's, they're the 04 models.

I just got a Mustang, and all though it's not fair, what kind of subs could I consider to outperform him?

If - same vehicle with a decent install

He's going to have three sealed Type R 12's

What would outdo it?

I'm considering two 12(maybe 10") HD AudioQue's on an Orion 2500d

Or I could do a single 12" HD on my 1200D, this would be the much cheaper route.

Opinions on other ways to look at it? 1200d or 2500d = the amp.

I am wanting to use either 12" or 10" subs, prefer 10" subs.

2 audioque's on the 2500 would definetly outdo him if you were talkin about spl.

he's gonna blow his subs, those type r's are 300 watts rms, that makes a total rms wattage of 900. he's gonna be over powering his subs by a lot, chances are he wont be running 2000 watts the whole time.

i would do 2 audioque 10's on the 2500d

I'm going to talk to a new place tomorrow and see if I can fit a box big enough fo two 12" HD's tomorrow. Gonna try to drive up there and get it measured out.

If not, two HD 10's are in order

And a 2500D is coming, sooner or later

What ya think?
