Another thread on how NOT to ship a motor

Well I purchased an 05' XXX motor and basket a few weeks back and was able to pick it up from the post office today. Was not happy when I saw the box. I did get a very small, from a distance picture of the packaging and he told me how he packaged it and it seemed fine the way he explained it. But this seems to be something else.

The outside looked like ***** but once I saw the inside I really got upset.

No padding whatsoever under the motor. I am not sure if there was in the first place when he originally shipped it out or what the deal was.

Thank god its not cracked or shifted or anything. There are some chips taken out of the motor though.

I will not release his name nor will I leave negative feedback because the motor is still okay and I cannot say how well it was packed when it left his hands. This is simply just another thread showing how to NOT pack **** like this.

dude i would make sure to notify him. there is no way it was the p.o's fault. if he had correct packaging it would not have happened .

shouldve just wrapped it in cut in half pool noodles... not that hard... i recieved a sub from florida that the sub broke through the bottom of the box... but he actually wrapped the sub in pool noodles and was perfectly fine to this day.

wow horrible packaging. sorry bro, at least it didnt shift or anything. i wouldnt be very happy either though.

This. When I received a motor, no noodle.....in a flat rate box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but got it fixed by psi.

Yes I let him know what happened with a link to this thread. Its no biggie, just goes to show how well they really need to be packaged because they get thrown around quite a bit.
