can i turn on/off the sub woofer amp from my head unit my my HU has a pre out for sub i want to know if i hook my sub amp with my HU can i turn it on n off using my HU coz sometimes i dont want all that bass

and also is there a way that i can adjust the bass for the subs from my HU ? just like we set bass/treble for the speakers ? coz my current amp dosent have the bass boast remote

wow thats a some great features then can v also do the same for my front and rear speakers ? like if i have speakers hooked to the amp and amp to HU but if i just want the speakers to use the HU power 60x4 can i do that as well widout taking the wires out n all ?

No, once you have the speakers connected to an external headunit via preouts, the signal doesn't pass through via the HU. I have no way to turn off the amp for mids on my unit. I use a switch.

I am not sure since your headunit is newer than mine. I can only cut the signal (not turn it off) from the pre-outs. This essentially makes the amp reproduce no sound. If your HU does not have this feature you can put a switch in the remote wire that goes from the HU to the amp. You can do this regardless of the HU ability to control and I reccomend incase of fire.
