Another Rookie Question...

I came here a few years ago and you guys helped me a ton. I now have a new car and am installing s new system, but I'm back with some new questions. You'e the experts - I still don't know too much about all this. Anyways...

I plan on buying two pairs of INFINITY KAPPA 682.7CF 6x8 2-WAY 300W speakers for the front and back.

I will also be getting two 10" subwoofers at around 500RMS/1000W each. My questions are these...

What amps would work best with the speakers and then the subs? 2-channel? 4 channel? Mono? I don't really understand the difference in those too much. How much power should each amp have? I've seen setups with an amp for the left speakers, an amp for the right speakers, and an amp for the subs. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys. This place has helped me a lot in the past.

I used a 4 channel amp for my 4 speakers and a mono amp for my subs. If you're looking for a good 4 channel amp for cheap, I got one for sale too. PM me if you're interested.
