Another question about fuses

I am going to redo my install and I have another question about fuses.

I will be getting http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FH-20 fuse holder and run 1/0 all the way. I will have a 2 way ditribution block giving power to 2 amps, each needing 80A. But the inline anl fuses come in either 150 or 200A, which should I get? Would 200 be ok?

go with the 200a fuse. The fuse near the battery is really to protect the wire, not the amp. Thats why amps have their own fuses.

I checked my amp manuals again and it turns out that I need 80A for one and 60A for the other.

So the distro block will have one 80A anl and one 60A anl, should the inline fuse holder still be of 200A or will it be ok to get the 150A fuse?

The idea is to have 1/0 power wire from the battery to the inline fuse holder, and then 1/0 to the distro block where I will run 4awg to each amp. Sounds ok?

id use a 150a fuse.

200, 0 gauge should handle quite a bit of current, fuse is for the wire, ect. ect.

Well I used a 300a fuse on 0/1 welding leads. Alt to batt +. Never had any problems what so ever.

i use a 250a on 1/0 welding wire about 8 inches from my battery

Fuse is too protect wire. Stick a 300 in there just in case it shorts out and forget about it.
