this is sad, i mean paypal can lick shitty balls. i bought a harman kardan ht reciever and used paypal and a few days later i had a box full of socks and some pices of wood. i would post pics but this happened a few years ago and i no longer have them.

i just use money orders for stuff now.

I really wanna know the right way you could protect urself, like film from the time you tape it up til you bring it too UPS or what not?

This really does freak me out a tad, i dont sell much...but man that sucks

I got screwed by them about 2 years ago for 2800 on a car... I Sold. Guy told paypal I shipped him a different car then pix... And then paypal had the ebay pix and the pix he used...(dude primered the car the day he got it and then sent it in) So i got screwed out of a car and money... I stopped using them
now hard to buy from alot of people they wont take paypal

how? from their desk? they don't do any real investigating....i gave them info that they never checked

ive thought about that lol... wouldnt be too hard really. just go to the bigger blue post office boxes in front of stores and stuff and film your self sealing up the envelope and dropping it in the box.

but on big things, idk lol

Well im guessing that he said the pics were of a fully painted car, and when it got there it was primered instead of painted....same car though, just not what he "bought"

Why the **** doesn't PayPal do a proper job assessing claims?

I bet it has to do with people "Charging back" against paypal and their banks decided to crack down on them.. So they decided they are just going to screw sellers to save their own ***.

save all emails, pm's, texts, etc.... especially ones after the buyer gets the items

save all receipts for 6 months. 12 months for very high dollar items.

its not a video but it has worked for me so far. although i havent had to deal with any crap like this.

its 45 days now i believe.

i think there are also loop holes though that allow it to go out to 60 days. go figure. allow them longer to enjoy what they bought and next thing you know your bank account has money missing and you dont know why.

not everyone gets on paypal daily to make sure they arent getting scammed. anymore when i sell something i do check it daily though to avoid problems.

I dont like paypal, but I just use it because I get paid faster, and its easy to use. But I have had problems with them. They closed like 3 of my accounts for some bullshit.
