well, i helped organize this event for well over a year. it is the first show in our city which has allowed rat rods to compete. we also rolled in a few charities into this event. we had the Food Bank, Blood Bank, Disabled Vets, and donated money to a scholarship fund through this event.
I used some of my political experience and invited plenty of media and local politicians. looks like next year will be better with their support. because of them we were able to land the support of O'Reilly's and Clear Channel communication. we are also working on getting a much newer and updated website
we were able to make about $10K in profit in this show and look forward to next year. we also had so many donations that we gave out over $2K in prizes, spurs tix, gift cards to O'Reilly's, Autozone, and a few local audio shops.
next year we project 500 cars. this year was 200.
