I wouldn't consider it too much free time. Most of these people are paid pretty well if they can get pubs (MSNBC is not a pub, but I am sure they are using a real pub)...although you have to pay like $100 to submit each paper, some graduate schools pay $50k/yr for people to write these types of things.

I am aware of this, but I just mean that somebody is still actively looking for forms of racism is ridiculous. Not so much the statistician, but the person who paid them to go look for this.
