Another budget Comp set Thread

Tried ordering 6.5" rsd's from two different places that said they had them only to find out they were out of stock and they have been discontinued. Guess I was too late with the rsd boner.

I've tried searching sets on the forum but they seem to all be really expensive. Are there 6.5" sets that would do well on 100watts rms each channel for around the same price? Let's say $150 budget max.

Oh, also saw rsds in the for sale section without crossovers, any way to buy seperate crossover?

yeah, I bought from two places, one on ebay and one with a storefront. BOTH had them as in stock, bastrads! So, that's two refunds already, I think I'm better off with a different set.

Suggestions!??

That's right. They can be bought on Ebay brand new for right around that price. I'd buy the PCE's over the RDS's, personally, if I was in the market for a comp set in that budget.

Is there a way I can do it with a single two channel amp? Can I buy an electronic equalizer/crossover that will work with a two channel amp for a two way component setup?

Sorry, really don't want to buy another amp, these components are a stretch on the budget as it is! lol

Those Pioneer REVs are supposed to be nice, from reading about them here on the forum.

I had a set of Alpine Type R comps that I thought were pretty good. You might want to look into those. I had the older model, but the newer ones are supposed to be better.
