A kid I know said he paid ~$700 for his Xplod system (6x9s, amplifier, subwoofers, enclosure). He almost wet himself when he sat in my car with my 1 SX and told him I paid $400 for the sub, amp, and enclosure.

Those sony subs are actually very nice subs. They aren't todays crap xplod's , they are the old ES Mobile line right during the transition to Xplod line. I had the 12" version in a 2 cube sealed box on a viper 1200.1 and they absolutely pounded and sounded good too. I've had tons of different subs and i would rate these higher in quality than the JL W3's i had in the same box.\

Are they worth what he's asking....no but good subs nonetheless
