Annoying POP!

My Soundstream EQ turns off first in my system when I power down, therefore causing a loud pop in the speakers. Always scares my friends. Does anybody know if there is a relay with a delay on it i can install so the eq turns off after the amps? Or any wiring tips? My power sources are the same as the factory radio. Any advice helps.

Im not sure if its related to the poblem i had with headunit noise the first time i ever did an install, but the way i fixed noise and popping between tracks was to make sure my earth connection to my headunit was good, it fixed the problem for me. Try sanding and cleaning your earthing points for your equipment. Hope it helps man

Or just use a $2 relay.

Have your HU's rem lead switch the relay, have the relay feed your EQ's ACC lead.

pops arn't to bad what I really hate are snaps and crackles.....
