First and foremost I want to say thank you to the mod team member or goob that lifted my bob saget imposed ban on me that was supposed to ended on 3/3/11. Also in light of everything that happened in the last few days I'm glad to see Bob is gone.

I also want to apologize to the Mod team for pushing the boundaries regarding posting indecent material. The topic I wanted to discuss envolved a certain level of obscentity to begin with, but the manor in which I presented it could have been in a non TOS violating manor. I originally thought a link with ample warning and no direct images of the material in the post was safe as it was not ***********. That being said I took senority for granted and thought worst case senario is I get a warning.... needless to say I was mistaken and a temp ban was not that unreasonable. I'm lucky I didn't get perma banned.

Thank you to all my friends and buyers for thier support durring the past few days. Although I was at fault in certain aspects, this situation certainly raised the issue of unfavorable mods. I still stand by my request to become a Mod here. I know it seems silly it light recent posts/bans but I know this site needs good people who have been here for a long time and take pride in the site. I wouldnt be posting my for sale here here first over any other site if I didnt want to be here and see this place thrive. I remember back when we all appreciated this place and the BS was minimal, tolerable at most. I see alot of unrest amoungst the masses and I feel I was given the chance help make this place better I could do a **** good job. My personal goal would to be a better (reasonable, level headed, not posting stupid irrelevant **** anymore) mod than many of the bad ones we've seen recently.

Take it for what it is. BAJ for MOD 2011? if you support it put it in your sig and vote here, if you don't support it feel free to comment, but please it keep it civil. I know these threads tend to get worked up with lots of nasty hate back and forth and I know we can do better than that. Plus I work from home selling tons of gear here so I frequent the classifieds and can catch alot of the would be shady's without proper information/pics in thier ads.

Not really covering tracks, im putting it out there in the open and accepting responsiblity (kind of the opposite really). i thought it was good idea since there were some people defending me and saying i shouldnt have been banned. I wanted to get some things off my chest in a mature tone, I'm sorry you think it's corny.

If this is such a crap forum with retarded kids then why are you here using it? If you're a 2010'er then I can see why you would think this place *****, it's gone down hill in the past few years. I'd like to mod here because I've been here a long time, I'm familiar with the community(for better or for worse), and I learned how not to let **** get to me....which is one of the main reason's some mods abuse power... There's always haters and fighting it with never ending back and forth ranting is a waste of time.

I figure if i'm spending a great deal of time selling here I might as well help with the upkeep. The push that got me to bring this to the community vote was the BS with Bob and the general low moral of this place. I can do better and I hope enough of you feel the same way.

And hey if i do fail as a mod or screw up......goob can demote me or ban me. Seeing as how sellig here is part of my bread and butter i'm not really wanting to do **** to put that in jeopardy, especially after this week lol. I sell ALOT here, and for the most part I know wtf I'm talking about when it comes to car audio and help where I can.

welcome back. first, i would like to support your side on the fact that i think your longer banning was more than necessary. it should have started with removal of the link, and a warning. that being said, i cannot support your campaign as mod at this time. your mission statement, so to say, is not far from what i would present, but actions say a bit more. yes, you used your seniority, and pushed the limits.... aside from that, you fell short of diplomatic resolution, and manner. just being honest in my view. i have a feeling the campain for good moderators will continue for some time. (not saying anything against current mods, just a current trend) i'm sure by the next junction of an opening, you will show yourself to be all the candidate you propose. good luck in the future.
