Ancient MTX Thunder 3000 12s...info on em anyone?

Hm she said it was 4 ohm :O...said it says it on the magnet and has the numbers 12nc1282 thr 4ohm

Now to find something that can do 400 rms @ 2 ohms for less than $100 and is power efficient

find you a old blue thunder 2 channel. i ran mine 2 ohm bridged for years. Got hot as **** but never stopped i just recently sold it to my friend and she is running 3 mtx 10's @ 4 ohm bridged on it and its very happy (it hasn't seen a normal load in years , i'm sure its old *** is grateful).

alot of sun damage on the cones.

i have a old school mtx amp i ran @ 2ohms bridged for yrs. i modded it and wired a small internal relay and machined the sink and added a 10,000rmp fan to it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
