An interesting band I just heard about

I don't know how long they've been around or how many cd's they have or anything, but a friend just told me about them. Anybody listen to the Flobots? I guess their new single is called "Handlebars"

it's pretty interesting i guess. Chill music, with a rap vocal style, but still slow and almost spoken. In my opinion, i think they sound a lot like Cake, but with a little more emphasis on rap instead of singing.

I downloaded their full cd last night and I actually like it a lot. I'm not sitting here saying he's like an amazing lyricist or anything, or the beats are insane, because neither of the above are true, but it's nice to hear some "rap" and i use that word loosely, that's outside of the typical mold.

There is band I just found because I was looking for a song on a commercial. I'm sure some of you have heard of them, but they are called Citizen Cope. The sing the song "Let the Drummer Kick That," which, if you googled it, you would recognize.

I downloaded that album with that song and I really like it. They're sound isn't exactly new, but still.
