Amplifier is going into protection mode after wiring subs to .5 Ohm. HELP!

Wait what... if i read closely enough you spliced immediately from said sub amp #1 w/ a short 8ga (FROM SUB AMP POWER TERMINAL???) to highs amp #2?????????
I didn't the moron who wired this crap in the first place did... I'm just the turd who gets to fix it

My dream sub.... Wana sell one 15? I doubt he has a big enough alternator, bat, amp, wiring to feed both. I got a dsc1500 fed with 0awg I know my amp would love to punish that sub... YUMMY BASS.... MMMMMM //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Btls aren't actually wired for .5 because since this isn't your first rodeo, you know that 2 ohm btls are closer to 1.7 ohms per coil. You knew that though, and of course you have a multimeter to check too.
You do know that what you measure with the multimeter isn't what the amp "sees," right? An Re of 1.7 works out to a min of 2 ohms when a signal is applied. Amp isn't stable to .5 ohm mono so it really doesn't matter anyway.

I'm tripp'n haha... Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooowww duuuuuuuuuuuddddeeeee aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh WTF!!!! Your shits upside down dude. Another beautiful cutty destroyed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

Lol.. What is the issue here? Stop trying to do something you can't and it will be fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

this read fail to me

tryna run 2 btls on a 2 channel amp? @ .5?

any electrical upgrades? electrical is prolly shot

heres my tip

get a new amp. one that will handle .5 daily, and not a 2 channel and beef up the electrical

my .02

easy solution. listen to ppl on here. 99% of them know what they are doing. Wire the subs back to 2 ohms where the amp is better stable. set the gains properly, upgrade your wires to proper size, get a real mono amp, not a 2 channel. be done. or maybe you should just sell the subs, and amp, and start over by getting your electrical up to par first!. your going to get better help if your not completely blowing knowledgeable, expierenced people off on here.

PM me for my celly number. I may not be able to help but we can hook up and take a look at it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
