Amperage draw and strain on electrical system

Hey CA,

I'm planning on running the new saz-1200 @ 4 ohms on my current project. I plan on running my stock alternator on my sub and amp setup. Will the saz-1200 be a strain on my electrical system? I plan on utilizing more of the power from the amp as I upgrade my car, but for right now I would like to just utilize a smaller percentage of the power (I'm guessing I'll be pulling 3-400 watts).

Thanks!

yep. pay attention to voltage if you can - they sell volt meters that plug into lighter sockets. if you can maintain 12.5V or higher at all times, then you are good. dropping to 12V or lower is not good on the electrical system. a few hundred watts is easily handled by a stock electrical system.
