My crescendo 1000c4 isn't working. Here's exactly what happens

amp is hooked up to 4 gauge wiring hit that was perviously wired to my Hinoincs Brutus, no problems ever came up with the amp not working. So to test my 1000c4 toady I hooked up my super tweets plugged my RCAs in to all 4 channels with a Y splitter and turned my car on, radio clicks on, but the amp doesn't play. I looked in the back and tried again, when my headunit click on my amp turns on right away but the normal blue power light doesn't come on instead the protection mode light turns on for about 10 seconds them goes off but the power light never turns on at all. I assume this is the Mute delay? But if that's coming on then the amp is getting power correct?

Went through the troubleshooting steps with RCAs out and speaker wire out same thing. Checked my 30amp fuses there's 3 and they all look good. My connections to my battery up front are good to. Use my multimeter (dont have a DMM yet) but looks likemim just above 12 volts so its probably like 13 something. My remote wire is sending power to. Im using Y splitters so i dont have to run 2 sets. I don't know what's up

Could maybe the 4 gauge be to big? I mean I highly doubt that. ill be jumping the remote wire with my power to see if it keeps that amp on. thatd would rule out remote wire problems. still could be RCAS? but i used this exact set up on my hifonics brutus about a week ago just without the Y Splitters

Let me know I really hope its something simply and I'm just overlooking it.

Maybe this video will help the music played is NOT from my amp it's the front doors playing off the HU

sounds like a short or wiring mistake in your speaker outs? Check the resistance across each of the speaker connections when the amp is off, to make sure there is a load on each one. If not that it's likely a problem with the actual amp as far as I can tell.

ok, ill get a DMM tomorrow. im using a simple needle one right now. i just figured even if i wired my speakers wrong id still see a sign of life. lol

Checked everything but RCAs and resistance on my Amps speaker terminals I don't know what setting.

Amps power is good reads 12.7 when cars off and 13+ when running. remote turn on reads solid 11.5 when radios on and 0 when off. I'm almost postive my RCAs have single becuase I used them before and I haven't disconnected them or rewired them since I installed. I'm leaning towards the amps fucked

every power supply fet was shorted. there were broken traces beneath the board that all were blown and thus shorted my fets. repair cost - 35$
