amp whine

i got a advent 4 channel amp but it whines really loud and then starts making a poping nosie ? i can figure it out. i hooked up another amp and the power to the amp and grounds and speaker work fine . what could be wrong with the amp .

He said he switched out the amps and problem went away. This means the problem is in the amplifier, not the wiring.
