Ok i'm new blah blah 10ers.....so let me tell you my setup JBL 1201.1 @ 4 ohms so about 740 watts...Power hx2 12'' dual 2 @4 ohms with a yellowtop up front. Now looking at this video I see how they tuned a amp for 400 watts if i want to tune mine towards my max rms watts at 4 ohm what tune hertz should i look for? Also what about the other amp settings like bass boost? Lastly I seen some videos where guys would hook their multimeter up with battery to get a reading of voltage. I was wondering whats a good range to fall under so I can decide if I should upgrade to the big three and thanks in advance.

Okay as far as the battery goes unless you have a really old car they are all the same, a 12v battery is what they all run on. It goes up a little in voltage as the car is running and being charged though but they are all the same.

Your alternator is what you should be worried about and its amps. But unless you got some big system pulling thousands of watts you should not have to worry.

theres multiple tutorials, gtfo
They don't work.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Yeah you can put your multi meter on your battery. You obviously want to be sitting above 12v at rest. You could invest in a voltage meter, stinger makes one for like 20$ I believe. When you're driving, your battery will probably be closer to 14v or even above 14. So all you want to watch for is voltage drops..

As for setting your gain, isnt it something like sqrt watts X impedance?
