Did some searching didn't see much, maybe didn't search hard enough. I was wondering if there is a way possible to run a switch that powers the amp so that when you want you can turn the amp off so that there is no thump, something like cutting the video for a monitor. So questoin is is there a way to cut your amp off with a switch???

yea....buy a headunit with sub controls

lol no, a cut off switch for the amp, so that you can control when your subs are on or not.

just go to walmart or your local parts store and buy you a toggle switch, and wire it into your remote wire.

a good hu can turn the subs on and off:fyi:

but you can do as craigzster said.....wire a toggle switch into the remote

ya a toggle switch is nice, if you get one with an led you have to ground it
