Amp suggestion...

What's up everybody? Need some advice for an amp. I had an 00 Civic that some dumbass just totalled the other day. I'm a little sore, got a concussion, but I'll be ok. When the lady hit me head on, my Kicker amp like disassembled itself somehow, it was weird. So obviously it's a goner, along with my wiring kit. I still have my Pioneer head unit and 2 12" Kicker CompVR's. The Kicker amp I had was a 1000W, which I think was too much. I bought an 01 Celica yesterday and started looking for amps. Does anyone have any suggestion on the amount of wattage I should shoot for for this next amp, or even better, any specific amps you can think of? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx guys.
