I just recently installed
12Inch Cadence 500W MaxPower (250rms)
8 x 12 Cadence Daytona DCS812 500W MaxPower (150Rms)
ZRS-6K 6.5 with Crossovers / Tweeters 300W MaxPower (100rms)
AMP: Cadence FX500 5 Channel
1200AMP Battery
My head unit only has 2RCA Outputs, so for that we installed an Equalizer so i can control the Sub in the back. The Equalizer output is 12V to the Amp.
So my problem is that after 40-50 minutes of listening to music, the Amp just shuts down even though it's not hot, it's very mildly warm.
I have to turn off my car for 3-5 hours before the speakers will work again.
Last night i was tampering with the Shutoff Fuse in the bonnet just tapping it and the battery leads, and my audio just came back on, but i think it was just a coincidence.
Also since this problem started, my car radio is changing between using the AUX Output (mp3 player) and Radio mode by it's self.
Can anyone give any advice for any of the above?
