Ok, i just got my amp back from kbaudio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif and i hooked it up, and it keeps shorting its 3 30A fuses.. Tomorrow i will be taking the seat out and going through the power wire to make sure it is not shorted, but i would like some other ideas please. The amp is a viper 1200.1d. If you think its the amp itself tell me, im all out of ideas and im flaming cause this is the second time i got my amp from kb audio and it does not work right. Which the first time i checked to see if the power wire was shorting it wasnt, so imma check again anyways cause i have nothing else better to do. If its the amp this time i am going to get a refund from the pricks at kbaudio and buy a new one.

Mike

A short in the power wire shouldn't have any affect on the fuses in the amplifier itself.

If there are no speakers connected and the fuses are blowing on the amp, then the problem's in the amp.

It does pop fuses when the speaker is not connected. I checked the coils on the sub, a magnum, and they are both at 1.9, so i dont think there is a problem there. So my guess is buy a new amp??? Cause i really dont wannaa deal with kbaudio anymore

oh they are 4 guage.also i check my sub it reads 1.9 ohm for each side, so im guessing its nott the sub. I tested ground and power they seem to work fine. Im guessing its the amp again
