Hi all,

Need a little help with replacing an amp that died on me over the weekend, or should I say died to stupidity on my buddy not plugging his cooler so water leaked all over my amp. I had an MTX Thunder 801D powering my sub. Thank goodness nothing happened to my other amp. Anyways, I'm looking for an ample replacement for the 801D. I was looking at the 1000D or the XD. and it seems to be at a decent price I was looking at around $200-$300. I would like some input from people that know more than I do about this since I haven't really touched anything in 5 years. My sub is a MTX 9500, 12 inch. Thanks a lot for your time.

Is it completely fried or did you attempt to dry it out and then test it? Or was it powered up when the water hit it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
