Will be replacing my ADF-2844

Will be getting a sub made by SPL that sits within the 2ohm 750-1000RMS range.

On CL there is a guy selling a PG x600.1 for 120$. Will play it for 20 min with my CD (nothing but all types of low notes) to make sure its ok

Also..Saw some other amps in my price range that has great reviews

HITRON HPA2000.1

Hifonics HFi1000D

I'm not into massive SPL drags but a nice dialy driver that can handle long term play(hours at a time) Since i will be going part time pizza deliveries to save up for a high output alt then upgrade to some H/O amp and find some one selling a W7 (tons of tards in san diego always selling blown ones for 250-300) then have SPL make a monster from it.

---EDIT---

Sorry for no links, it wont let me link w/o it asking for MOD approval but the mods have no idea why

well, that pg is a real nice amp. what it will give you is just over 600 watts rms at all loads..... i could be low on that number, too... it's self-adjusting. i like mine, and almost bought another, but the guy wanted $200, so i didn't bite. btw, i still saw it on the rack for sale a couple years ago for $800. so, if it's good, and you take care of it and don't loose the end plugs, then you shouldn't have trouble selling it if you want something different.... as long as you are not bucking the price up on it when you want to sell.

Well honestly for the price its only 140 or is it really not worth it? Iv never owned a hifonics but i have owned Crunch in the past a few years back and was very happy with it. they are made by the same company so wasnt too sure of the new age stuff

Pi 1000.1 it was really 1krms @ 1 ohm powering my FI Q had a shop test it and it worked like a beast

nevermind just noticed you said the hfi lines were the cruddy ones

on all 4 corners, there is rubber "plugs" which are basically covers. you run the wires through them, clamp the wires down, and then push them back in place. if you see the black corners and no big gaping holes, then they are there. and, like i said, if you don't like it, you can sell it for the same price...

so i snagged it for 105$ and tested it. Works great.... now question.. why the hell does a 600.1 have two channels? am i supposed to run both pos and both negative in at the same time? that confused the hell out of me.

It is missing 1 plug on the amp, i guess i can make a chamber for a high CFM fan to keep the thing cold.
