Amp RCA input for speakers

Hi all

Going to install my Focal amp to my aftermarket Kenwood head unit. I know this is quite a "der" question but am new to this.

So what I want to know is if I run RCAs from the amp to the head unit for the speakers, do I also have to run the speaker cable from the wire harness back to the amp as well??

I'm only running the amp to power my new speakers, so no sub.

The rca's connect the headunit to the amp. They send the audio signal. You must run a remote wire from the headunit harness to the amplifier to turn the amp on and off with the headunit. Then wire the speakers to the amp and your good to go
