Amp Questions - Any help please?

Awhile back I had an orion 500.5 installed in my car. I had all my positive and negatives right and went to start up the car. I started the car and went back to adjust the gains on the 2500d that was installed. I started smelling smoke and looked down and saw smoke rising from the 500.5. I had my comps ran off of it, which never had a problem before. I quickly disconnected it from the rear battery and it stopped. Now if I plug it in it instantly gets hot and smokes. Any Idea whats wrong with it and what it could cost to fix? It still plays fine on the front Ch but thats all I'm sure off.

Its burnt around the left top white thing, not sure what it is.
