Amp powers off when I take CD out of Head Unit

I have a DEH-7500MP Head Unit and no mater what amp is wired up the amp runs and plays fine but when I take the CD out the amp shuts off like the Remote turn on wire is telling it to turn off then as soon as a CD is put in it powers back on like nothing happend.

Whats Causeing this?

Is this normal?

Should this happen?

Is this Bad?

How can I correct this problem?

sounds like u have it wired to the power antenna lead not the remote turn on

I Don't Have a power antanna... lol

Its spliced into the "R.E.M." blue wire coming out of the H.U. Wireing harness.

did you just post that to piss me off or be a dick because I think you managed to do both.

We get silly around these parts sometimes, just take it with a grain of salt.

Anyways, you never mentioned anything about the radio functions.

My amp turns off when I remove a CD also, but it comes back on when I put it on Tuner, Aux, or put another CD in. I'd assume it's normal.

yes the amp stays on in tuner mode AND in Demo mode. just when a CD is ejected it shuts off but as soon as one is put back in it comes back on.

I don't think it's a problem. The unit just goes into "standby" mode when the CD is ejected. If it comes on again with another CD or the tuner then there's no problem.

its normal my 860mp does the same thing, juss the radio in standby mode/demo

It is normal. When you eject the CD the unit automatically goes to standby mode. Basically it powers down until you switch it to the Radio or put another CD in. This turns your amp off.

Why would you be concerned anyways? why would you want them to remain on when no music is playing???
