Amp powering help

I just picked up a visonik 4000D and I"m trying to get it to do about 2400 RMS at 2 ohms which i know is no problem for the amp but i hear it's very power hungry. I have a very healthy stock electrical system that does about 14.6 V without the amp hooked up. what do i need to do\replace so that I can run the amp at that RMS without damaging it or my car?

get a new main batt, and one for the trunk. upgrade the big 3 and see how it goes. you most likely will need a new alt to get the full potential without damaging anything.

Big 3, strong battery...any stock alt can put out over 14volts under little load, so just depends on what you have already done.

your most likely going to need a new alt

check out MECHMAN on here..he does amazing work from what i hear (a little more expensive, but worth it)
